As he recovers from a thigh muscle injury, Warren Buule will be sidelined for at least two to three weeks.
The team’s medical staff conducted a thorough examination and determined that the defender had slightly overstretched his hamstring muscle and would need some treatment to return to full fitness.
The Startimes Uganda Premier League match against Blacks Power FC, which the team won 3-1 to move up to sixth place on the fifteen team log, saw the center back who has been a crucial member of Asaph’s team suffer an injury in the second half.
Warren, who had participated in every minute of every game this season, will be hoping to overcome the injury and regain his previous level of fitness as soon as possible in order to assist the team in both the Stanbic Uganda Cup and Startimes Uganda Premier League.
In his absence, the team will be able to rely on Bob Oluoch Jr., who is currently on loan from Vipers SC, as well as new January signing Gideon Etou.
The team hosts Kiyinda Boys FC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 16 on March 14 before traveling to UPDF FC in Bombo on March 20.
